On the E6 you’ll drive into the city of Karasjok. Karasjok is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway and very historical. The Sámi people are an indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses large northern parts of Norway. The Sami Parliment was closed the day I was there, but reservations are recommended. More about the Sami people can be found here:
