May 17th is an extremely important day in Norway. I have been in Norway for their Constitution Day six times–five times in Oslo and once in Kristiansund. All of Norwegians have a Norwegian flag in their hands. It’s quite interesting to see it. I had to be in London for a work conference that happened to be on May 17, 2018. So I went to the local supermarket–Kiwi and purchased 50 Norwegian flags and brought them to London. I contacted the Sarastro Restaurant https://www.sarastro-restaurant.com/ who had a special concert with an entertainer who was my friend. I asked if we could also celebrate Norway to the packed restaurant audience (which happened to have 14 guests from Norway as well). It turned out magically well. Take a look at everyone waving their Norwegian flags.
