Lofoten Islands. A location you might only dream of

The Lofoten Islands is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. This location is known for a distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains as you’ll see by the photos and videos below. I was here once in 2016 and another time in 2019. I can’t wait to return again. A good overview can be found here: https://www.visitnorway.com/places-to-go/northern-norway/the-lofoten-islands/

I left Trondheim and drove north to the Artic Circle. Take a look at the distances just to Narvick
Stunning scenery at every km
Norway has done and excellent job with providing an introduction of every city you enter.
Ziplining? Yes please!
Ziplining!
I loved this camper.
Continuing the drive to the Artic Circle
From Narvik you take a ferry over to the Islands. This was another new Norwegian friend that I met on the ferry.
A beautiful Norwegian church in the background
Highly recommended museum. One of the best i ever visited.
One of the best videos. Who wouldn’t want to camp here?
