Alta, Norway

I loved Alta. It’s a town on Norway’s northern coast on the drive between Tromso and the Nordkapp. The city is known for views of the Northern Lights, which inspired the cascading architecture of the Northern Lights Cathedral. I have a number of pictures of this Cathedral below. Alta also had hundreds of prehistoric rock carvings at the World Heritage Rock Art Centre. I highly recommend spending a few hours at this museum. We stayed at the Alta-Scandia which was a real treat. I would highly recommend the hotel! You have to visit Alta on any visit to Norway!
