I had to write about this church. I will never forget driving along highway E6. I was looking for a place to stop for a quick break when we came upon the small village of Lakselv which is is half way in between Tromso and the Nordkapp. Lakselv is the largest village and administrative centre of Porsanger Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county. The village had a population of 2,300 people. But i’ll never forget seeing this beautiful Norwegian church and stopped to take pictures. I then found the doors were open and inside there was a group of Norwegians who were so friendly and welcoming.
