Biking in Averoy

I purchased a mountain bike in 2017 to participate in a Company Bike-A-Thon to support cancer victims. It was the best thing I ever did as I have ever done as I have now riden my bike through Norway’s incredible fjords. I have literally dozens of pictures and videos which I’ll share on this post in the near future. Norway is spectacular!

This is Averoy as the sun begins to set over the Norwegian fjords. I try and ride early in the day or before the sun sets. Either time, the views are MAGNIFICIENT!
Rain or snow, there was always an opportunity to ride my bike
Biking up to Trollstigen–not an easy bike ride but it sure was beautiful. Here’s a video that explains more about this UNESCO site: https://www.visitnorway.com/listings/trollstigen-the-troll-s-road/5937/
After the long bike ride, a few moments to enjoy Trollstigen
Breathtaking!
I love Norway!
Bike riding in Averoy is a real treat. The roads are tight but you share the road with the cars and everyone is very polite as long as you keep to your side of the road.
Biking in Averoy isn’t exactly easy with the terrain but it’s worth it. You’ll see what I’m talking about further in this blog.
Hello Averoy!
A 5 km ride to go to church. I made it just in time. Take a look at the next picture
