Church building in Norway began when Christianity was established in the year1000 AD. There is one church in particular i am most interested in–the Kornstad Church in Averoy. This has been the ‘family church for generations. My grandfather, Ole Peder, was baptized here before he immigrated to the USA. The church was built in 1871 and seats 350 people.
